Douro Demarcated Region
Douro Vineyards
The wedding ceremony will take place in one of the most iconic regions of Portugal — the Douro Valley.
This historic, world-renowned region is known for its breathtaking landscapes, where terraced vineyards embrace the river and nature unfolds in perfect harmony. A place shaped by time, tradition, and beauty, the Douro offers an atmosphere that is both timeless and deeply romantic.
Surrounded by some of the most stunning views in the country, this is where our forever begins — in a setting as unforgettable as the love we celebrate.
Where to stay
We recommend staying in Porto, as it offers a wide variety of Airbnbs, hotels, restaurants and places to visit.
For those who would like to explore the Douro region and stay closer to the wedding venue, Lamego and Régua are great alternatives. The area features several hotels and quintas.
If you’d like to stay at Quinta da Pacheca, where our wedding celebration will take place, we have 24 rooms reserved under our name. Each room has a cost of €386 per couple, including breakfast.
